Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective 23 September 2026 · Applies to app.getyasi.com, api.getyasi.com and the Yasi mobile apps.

These Terms are the agreement between yasi as (org. no. 938 261 350, Hjalmar Johansens gate 314, 9007 Tromsø, Norway, "Yasi", "we") and the business that creates a Yasi account (the "Customer", "you"). By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box or using the Service you accept these Terms on behalf of your business, and you confirm you are authorised to do so. The Data Processing Agreement at getyasi.com/dpa is Annex 1 to these Terms.

1. The Service

Yasi is a hospitality software platform: AI guest concierge (web chat and WhatsApp), reservations, guest CRM and marketing, staff scheduling and time clock, kitchen display and intercom, point of sale, compliance tools, and the related web and mobile applications, as described at getyasi.com and enabled for your plan. Features vary by plan and may be changed, improved or retired at our discretion; we will give reasonable notice before removing a feature your plan depends on.

2. Account and access

You are responsible for everyone who uses the Service through your venue: owners, invited dashboard users, staff using personal codes, and shared devices (kitchen displays, tills, kiosks) paired with your codes. Keep codes and devices secure, remove people who leave, and tell us promptly at support@getyasi.com if you suspect misuse. Anything done through your account or codes is treated as done by you.

3. Trial, fees and payment

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, fees are charged per location per month or per year in advance, at the prices on getyasi.com or in your order form, excluding VAT. Annual plans are non-refundable. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next renewal. Late payment may lead to suspension (section 10). Payment-terminal and card-processing fees, where used, are charged by the payment provider under its own terms. Where you switch on Receive payments, guests pay you directly through Stripe on a Stripe account in your name, under Stripe's terms: you are the seller, Stripe's processing fees and any refunds or disputes are yours, and Yasi charges a platform fee of 1.5% of each payment, taken from the payment before it reaches you (returned when a payment is refunded in time).

4. Term and cancellation

The agreement runs for the billing period you chose and renews automatically for the same period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard or by email; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and no refund is due for the remainder. We may terminate for convenience with 30 days' written notice, or immediately for material breach, non-payment beyond 14 days after reminder, unlawful use or a security risk to the platform or other customers.

5. Your data and your responsibilities

You own the data you and your guests put into Yasi. You are the data controller for guests' and employees' personal data; Yasi processes it as your processor under the Data Processing Agreement (Annex 1), which forms part of these Terms. You are responsible for: having a lawful basis and giving notices to guests and staff; obtaining marketing consent before sending campaigns; the accuracy and lawfulness of content you upload (menus, documents, photos, prompts); and complying with hospitality, employment, food-safety, bookkeeping and tax rules that apply to your business.

6. AI features

Yasi uses artificial intelligence to answer guests, draft messages and campaigns, suggest schedules, analyse reviews and forecast demand. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. It is assistance, not advice. You must review AI-drafted content before relying on it, and you remain responsible for bookings, communications and decisions made with its help. AI features may use third-party models (see getyasi.com/sub-processors); we do not allow those providers to train on your data.

7. Point of sale and compliance tools

Where you use Yasi POS, time clock, scheduling or compliance modules, you are responsible for meeting the legal requirements that apply to your business (including Norwegian cash-register, bookkeeping (bokføringsloven), SAF-T, working-time and HMS/IK-mat rules). Yasi provides tools and exports to help; it does not guarantee that your use of them satisfies any law or authority, and you should verify with your accountant or advisor.

8. Acceptable use

You may not: use the Service to send unsolicited messages or spam; upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content; attempt to access other customers' data, probe or overload the platform, or reverse-engineer it; resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement; or use it for anything other than operating your hospitality business. We may set fair-use limits (for example on AI messages, emails and WhatsApp messages per month) and will show them in the dashboard.

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any uptime guarantee, service credits or warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Planned maintenance is done outside typical service hours where possible. Support is by email at support@getyasi.com on business days; response targets, if any, are stated in your plan. You should keep the ability to operate (take bookings, take payment) without the Service during an outage.

10. Suspension

We may suspend all or part of your access, with notice where practical, if payment is overdue, if we reasonably believe your use breaches these Terms or the law, or if it threatens the security or stability of the platform. We restore access when the cause is resolved.

11. Intellectual property

Yasi and its software, design, models, prompts and documentation belong to yasi as and its licensors. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business during the agreement. You grant us a licence to host, process and display your content as needed to run the Service. We may use aggregated and anonymised usage data (never identifying you, your staff or your guests) to operate, benchmark and improve the product.

12. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement. This survives termination for three years; personal data is governed by the DPA.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law: (a) Yasi's total liability under or in connection with this agreement, in any 12-month period, is limited to the fees you paid to Yasi in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; (b) Yasi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost bookings, lost profit, lost data (beyond restoring from our backups), reputational loss, or third-party claims; (c) Yasi is not liable for loss caused by your equipment, internet connection, third-party services, your staff's actions, or your reliance on AI output without review. Nothing limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or where the law does not allow limitation.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate Yasi for third-party claims arising from your content, your marketing messages, your breach of data-protection or other law, or your staff's misuse of the Service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the remaining period.

16. End of the agreement

On termination your access ends. You may export your data from the dashboard before the end date and for 30 days after; we delete your data as described in the DPA. Sections 11 to 14 and 17 survive.

17. General

Norwegian law applies. Disputes are settled by Oslo tingrett as the agreed venue, after a good-faith attempt to resolve them by discussion. Neither party is liable for failure caused by events outside its reasonable control. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it to a successor of our business. If a term is invalid the rest remains. These Terms, the order form, the DPA and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement; in a conflict, the order form prevails, then these Terms, then the DPA (except on data-protection matters, where the DPA prevails).
